Loved this post! I read a post with a similar concept the other day and kept raising my eyebrows at it but this one rings true in a lot of ways, even where I can't relate (e.g. I've never seen a blogger grow a ton of followers from being retweeted by a brand; I don't overly care if someone writes something about a topic I was going to cover because chances are we have different opinions and/or they fucked up somewhere and/or it's just going to sound different in my voice anyway).

And oh 9. My biggest disappointment is always when it sounds like a cool thing but then they're NOT going to pay you. It always pisses me off when people want me to work for free (really, I need to stop caring because it's bad for my health how angry it makes me but I can't seem to) but when it's someone/a brand I'd love to work with and they're pulling that shit… so disappointing.

Number to me is hilarious because that happen to me on Thursday. I was so mad that I missed such a great opportunity to discuss topics with my peers about things I love! By the way great post! I think most bloggers can relate to these things.
